What types of pets do you see?
We see cats and dogs. Have a pet other than a cat or dog? We're happy to point you to another hospital in the area.
What is Bright Vet?
Bright Vet is a general veterinary practice providing medical, surgical & dentistry services to dogs and cats. Founded in Asheville, NC by Dr. Samantha Roberts and her husband Dan, we're proud to be independent & locally owned. Our veterinary hospital offers you and your pet transparent, personalized pet care in warm environments. We're backed with modern technologies that give you quality time with our team and better access to care.
Appointments
How do I reschedule my appointment?
As a Bright Vet client, you'll receive timely notifications about your appointment. You can respond back via the notification or you can call our hospital to speak with a client care coordinator. We prefer appointments be canceled with 24hrs notice so we are able to release your time for other pets.
Do you accept same day appointments?
Our goal is provide same & next day appointments as available. We reserve limited spots so please give us a call and one of our client care coordinators can get you scheduled.
Do you accept walk-ins?
No. We prefer scheduled appointments to provide you and your pet with the best experience. We do our best to offer same & next day availability which you can book directly through our website or you can speak with a client care coordinator by calling us.
How can I schedule my appointment?
We offer 24/7 direct online booking via our website. Additionally, you can reach our client care team at +1 (828) 998-2855. For existing clients, we are also happy to work through text message, email, and social channels.
Experience
Do you offer grooming services?
At this time we do not offer grooming services, however please reach out and we’re happy to make some suggestions for trusted options. If your pet is in for a wellness appointment, we may provide nail trims.
Do you offer boarding or overnight stays?
No. We are happy to provide recommendations.
Can I stay with my pet during their appointment/procedure?
Absolutely. Bright Vet was built on the foundational principle of personalized, transparent pet care. We offer you access to our hospital wherever your pet may go with the exception of our sterilized operating room. We have comfortable seating in our treatment area should you choose to be with your pet during routine dental care or surgery.
What are your hours?
We are open Monday 8AM-5PM, Tuesday 8AM-5PM, Wednesday 8AM-7PM, Thursday 8AM-5PM, and Friday 8AM-12PM. We are closed Saturday and Sunday.
Where are you located?
Bright Vet is located off Airport Rd in Arden, NC in the shopping plaza with Dick's Sporting Goods & Verizon Wireless. You can find us between Itto Ramen & AT&T.
Payments
Do you accept pet insurance?
Yes. When using pet insurance, you can expect to pay Bright Vet directly for services upfront, and request reimbursement from your insurance company thereafter.
What payment options do you accept?
Our hospital accepts: Amex, Discover, Mastercard, VISA, Care Credit & Scratch Pay. We are equipped to provide contactless payment options: tap-to-pay & text-to-pay.
